Rubber-Metal Isolators
COM-52162
Isolate environment from unbalanced masses
High-performance Equipment Mounts
Natural frequency 8.0 Hz to 14.5 Hz
Load range 60 lbs to 149.9 lbs
Effective isolation of machines and plants: The Compression Mounts product family consists of robust heavy-duty mounts, which are particularly good at preventing vibrations and structure-borne noise from unbalanced masses such as pumps and compressors. Mounts are maintenance-free and improve efficiency in low frequency application ranges of 15 Hz or more. When mounted in pairs, the natural frequency of the system can be reduced to between 6 and 10 Hz. interfering frequencies above 900 rpm (15 Hz) are effectively isolated. At 1,500 rpm (25 Hz) the level of isolation is 90 %.
Made from galvanized metal and neoprene or natural rubber, they can be used at temperatures between -22 °F and 176 °F.
The heavy duty mount is normally used in vertical load applications. For example: around small motors, pumps and compressors.
