FARMINGTON HILLS, MI - ACE Controls announces the introduction of the new VC precision feed control for providing exact speed control for machine motion. Features include a threaded outer tube for increased mounting versatility and adaptability to ACE's 25 mm threaded MC 600 metric accessories. New accessories include an air bleed collar for environments containing petroleum-based oils or cutting fluids along with a new mounting clamp for ease of installation.
 

The feed rate on these dependable controls can be adjusted over a wide range by turning the external adjuster knob at the rear of the unit. The high precision, adjustable metering system can provide accurate feed rates from as little as 0.47 in/min (12 mm/min) with low propelling forces.
 

L (low-rate) models are available for high-load/low-rate precision feed control. If preferred, S and LS models can be obtained with a smooth non-threaded outer tube design.
 

Applications include: saws, cutters, drill feeds, as well as grinding and boring machines in the plastics, metal, wood and glass industries.
